The worker continues scanning items in the same bin, then scans the next bin when they move to it. If the same item appears in a second bin later in the count, scanning it again adds a new line for that bin rather than overwriting the earlier entry.
When scanning is complete, the worker opens the discrepancy view on the device. This shows the difference between each counted quantity and the quantity Business Central currently shows for that item and bin. The worker reviews the results, confirms the adjustments are correct, and posts from the device. Business Central updates the physical inventory journal and posts the inventory adjustments in real time.
